Are you ****ing kidding me?
That's like me saying "Hey go kill that person" to someone, and when they kill said individual, I'm not in trouble because hey, I didn't put a gun in his hands.
The power of suggestion is stronger than you think, and to think that music has no influence over someone's personal decisions is foolish.
Are we clear?

Gaga could wave at her fans and these bitches will make a story on how it is offending them.
And people dare to say she is fading and the public is uninterested but bitches are threatening to bomb her every five minutes for promoting self love. Stories like this are getting so old. ![](http://shontelledaily.com/nightmare/oops.gif)

They're reaching, but Gaga making a song about suicide is somehow... unfortunate. ![Doc](http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v232/korn0818/ATRL_Smilies_All/atrlers/doc_zpsc886535c.gif)

Don't you dare compare me to him, I'm not that crazy. ![JonnyϟLightning](http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v232/korn0818/ATRL_Smilies_All/atrlers/jonny_zpsc73391c5.png) But my end-of-year thesis last year was arguing that television and video games do influence youth to commit harmful acts, and I did a lot of research on it. I really think violent TV shows and video games have a really bad effect... but music, not so much. This group is definitely reaching with their claim, as there doesn't seem to be enough evidence to support it.

The sad part is that people actually believe this ********. Those kids were mentally disturbed before they listened to Manson.

You still have to be pretty ****ed up in the head to kill anyone and are already prone to violence. The song is not the cause of the issue, because obviously nobody else was messed up enough to go murder other people because of said song.

I agree. She should not be promoting suicide in anyway.

Here's the song that you're talking about, genius.
Quote:
When I get to the bottom I go back to the top of the slide
Where I stop and I turn and I go for a ride
Till I get to the bottom and I see you again.
Do, don't you want me to love you
I'm coming down fast but I'm miles above you
Tell me, tell me, tell me, come on tell me the answer
You may be a lover but you ain't no dancer.
Helter skelter, helter skelter
Helter skelter.
Will you, won't you want me to make you
I'm coming down fast but don't let me break you
Tell me, tell me, tell me the answer
You may be a lover but you ain't no dancer.
Look out
Helter skelter, helter skelter
Helter skelter.
Look out 'cause here she comes.
When I get to the bottom I go back to the top of the slide
Where I stop and I turn and I go for a ride
Till I get to the bottom and I see you again.
Well do you, don't you want me to love you
I'm coming down fast but don't let me break you
Tell me, tell me, tell me the answer
You may be a lover but you ain't no dancer.
Look out
Helter skelter, helter skelter
Helter skelter.
Look out helter skelter
She's coming down fast.
Yes she is.
Yes she is

To claim that Charles Manson was more inspired by a damn pop song that the fact he was a raging drug addicted psycopath only indicates how easily influenced you are. So feel free to listen to some early Marilyn Manson so we don't have to read your IQ-lowering posts anymore, if that's how it is.

Then tell me sis. Why are we not committing harmful acts of violence and why are we not committing suicide at this very moment? I mean everything to a certain standard is influential, the way we look and see things influences our point of view. I've watched tons of scary and violent movies and i'm not a psycho mass murderer. Nor have I slit my wrist or killed myself because Gaga told me it was okay to love myself.

You twat, she's not promoting it in any way, shape or form. The song wasn't written to get kids to commit suicide... ![Bibliotheque](http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v232/korn0818/ATRL_Smilies_All/atrlers/biblio_zps23dff242.gif)

Does this group not know how to interpret lyrics at all?
The song is talking about how someone felt at a certain time in their life. If they can't accept that that line is a reality of the mentality of certain people, their out of their mind.
Songs are supposed to put you inside the singers mind, or whatever other person they want you to relate to. How anyone could listen to this & equate it to actually promoting suicide is beyond a reach. Looking for controversy. But it's just not a GaGa album without controversy is it?

Well, different situation. He's talking about the Manson murders, not Columbine.
Easy to confuse it with what he said though.
