@ people thinking this is some sort of fluctuating stan crown.
Much like The Vocal Trinity was created by the media and can never/will never be adjusted,
Madonna will remain QoP.
It might bother some.
But, they will have to deal accordingly.

By that logic we should remove MJ from his title because even before his death he dint release anything and stuff...
Madonna still deserve her tittle

No one my age will care until she dies, and everyone loves you when you die. Look at MJ.

That's quite weird because I'm probably from your generation as well and I love Madonna, just like many other people from my age. I saw more people from my age on the S&S Tour than 30+. Maybe YOU don't like her, but to generalize an entire generation is just plain stupid.

Yes, Queen to the 70s,80s,90s babies but not the 00's or 10's babies. I'm not knocking what she has achieved, im merely asking with all her recent shenanigans, is it basically tarnishing all she has accomplished, and making her seem like a bitter old harridan not willing to give others the "midas touch"?
|
She gave someone the "Midas kiss touch" once.
It didn't end well.
Plus, Madonna could make 20 ****** albums and still maintain her status. I mean, look at MJ post Quincy Jones.

I know there are young fans, I'm a fan. But the current popstars are far more influential to my generation. Beyonce could tell people my age to support Obama, and have an affect. Madonna would say it and it wouldn't make a dent. Madonna has little influence to the youth.

Madonna is still the Queen. No one is gonna take her title anytime soon.
As of right now, Rihanna and Gaga are in the running but I don't think so. Britney could have, but she stopped trying years ago so it's obviously not gonna be her either

With her latest actions, she has merely stooped down to the level of Rihanna/Gaga/Katy etc.

Something about this sentence bothers me

Of course. She can do whatever she wants now, and it won't take anything away from what she's accomplished in the past.

What does that have to do with being Queen of Pop? Michael being a pedophile and Whitney being a drug addict didn't exactly take away their titles and accomplishments. Because Madonna is a bitch that means she's no longer the queen of pop?

Yeah, you're right.... but I don't think that has anything to do with her queenship. Though I think you'd agree.

Madonna is not at the top of the game right now, we know that. But she wasn't always. Back in the 90s Whitney, Mariah and Janet were at the top of the game, but you can see that none of them has left quite a legacy like Madonna (sorry Janet/Mariah/Whitney fans, love you all ).
The 90s people maybe didn't consider her their "Queen of Pop", but looking at the big picture it's evident that she is.

Yes. Just because she's tarnishing her queenship with lackluster albums and cheap antics doesn't take it away.

This but at the same time this means more Hard Candy's and MDNA's could happen from now on
