My mom is against it and it's annoyingly homophobic to the point every time I go out somewhere I'm going to be relating to other people she always advises me to be careful with (or stay away from) weird people.
My dad is pro-live-and-let-live, he thinks there's nothing wrong with homosexuality, but he doesn't approve of effemininity in men.
Well, having Muslim parents, they don't really think it's acceptable and see it as gross, but If they legalized it, my parents wouldn't give a ****. They would only react if someone in the family is gay, which hasn't happened yet.
Sadly, no. When it was legal in NY for gays to marry, my uncle said "All gay men should have their dicks cut off". Most of my family laughed, I wanted to puke.
Who I marry is my business, so I don't really care if they support it or not...
I don't even talk to them about my relationship problems.
That's extremely personal.
And if I do, it's on very vague terms.
My mum is very OTT with it all. "Aww he's fit isn't he?" "I think he likes you" etc My dad doesn't really talk about it. The rest of my family have been really supportive, even my grandad who is a tad homophobic.
I don't know, when I came out to my parents, my mom thought I was too young to know and my dad didn't give a flying ****. My family doesn't really talk about controversial topics that much.
