Animal has aged well. The production is so great, that it still sounds like it could of been released in 2012. I can't say the same for The Fame. As good as it is, the record has dated greatly. Part of that reason is also TFM, which was such a step up and remains fresh. But back to the question, Animal is a more solid debut and is highly underrated.
