"The Fame Monster" put her on the map and opened the world to who Lady Gaga was. It is impossible for that to happen again because she is already on the map and the world already knows who she is. You cannot repeat something that only happened largely because you were a new act at the time. Gaga will continue with her success and she will continue to sell tickets, singles, albums, and win awards, and you will continue to punch yourself and seeth because you cannot stand to watch someone you hate so much slay so hard.

Not true. The general public turned on Madonna quite early in her career. As long as Gaga continues to put out good music and continues to entertain people, she will be fine. Her success is not reliant on the general public any longer. She has the powerful fanbase and the power within the music business. She has solidified her role as an important pop musician and as a touring act who will have no problem selling our tour after tour no matter her GP reception.

What she said in the Oprah interview was very telling about not listening to anything or being in the public eye... when she comes back she will be a force, starting new trends that everyone will once again attempt to duplicate.

And if not, she peaked having a extremely successful era any girl would want for herself. Many people peaked, like Ke$ha, it's not a big deal.

People said Madonna would be a one album wonder; she has 8 #1 albums.
Let's not act like Gaga's no different than any other pop diva.
If she wants to come back to the success that she was experiencing in TFM era, she can certainly do it.

She can if she comes back with a flaw-free album, very strong videos that are epic and fresh and if her image next era is perfected she can definitely do it. She has the potential to re-emerge with a force but is she ready to play the game right and in an organised manner.

Precisely.
It's not like it's difficult to figure out what's selling. It's not that hard to figure out the general public.
The general public has made it clear that they do not want anything that is not a huge dance-pop anthem from Gaga. It's also clear they don't want "RockGa" or Gaga trying to "inspire" people.
People know she can sing; people love various parts of her performances (as long as she can give ARTFUL performances that don't just look over the top or aren't visually appealing) along with a huge dance song with an catchy/explosive chorus that has a video that relates to the song and in a way the public can connect to and not think about it (or be told about some long and pretentious meaning behind what looks like a bunch of thrown together events).
Add all of that together with a fanbase as strong as hers and it's not that hard to come back.
Just saying.

One thing to keep in mind though is that all in all, she is a touring force, so that will serve as a good niche for her to fill.

If she goes back to "The Fame Monster" style of music, where it was unique/original but still catchy and radio friendly, then I can definitely seeing her getting quite close to TFM success. She has the fanbase to keep her relevant and popular, and then pop-lovers will propel her to an even more successful era. That little jump is what cut the potential found in the Born This Way era, which could've been fixed with more TFM influence.

With the right music, she can outdo herself. This does mean, however, that she'll need to ditch the "born this way" schtick in regard to the music. Leave that part of her life to the foundation. The general public doesn't want politics in their music, nor do they want preaching. Now that she's made her point, it's for the best that she doesn't revisit it as a general theme in her music.
