I thibk what ke$ha is implying is really old school rock mixed with pop. I feel like she means actual guitars and actual rock.solo breakdowns. what porcelain does still feels pop to.me because there is soo much other stuff there. I mean I am not diminishing the fact that she IS different, but like I said before, party in a rich dude's house is more of the direction I see ke$ha going with since all the stuff I have heard from porcelain so far would be a step back from that

You're probably talking about her 1 single and the promo single. Listen to the other 4 tracks. but i wouldnt be surprised if what she did was close to 'Naughty Naughty' and not to the tracks above.

Not as paradoxical as you might think. Dr. Luke has dabbled in quite a few genres, and while his sound in recent years has been very pop focused, the scope of his skills and interests shouldn't be completely defined by his most recent work. He's done a little bit of everything, and is arguably more versatile than any of his contemporaries. He's more than capable of blending genre lines and coming up with some quasi-original sound (everything's been done before, to a certain extent) for Ke$ha.
