I tried moving my head a few times then finally I was able to move. The weight wasnt on top of me anymore. I felt like there was a woman in the room. Idk why but something just told me it was a woman.

Back when I was fifteen and used to live in an large, old apartment complex in L.A.
With my mom and siblings, we had a long hallway that ended looking directly into my mom's room.
This was around the time the re-release of 'The Exorcist' was out
And my cousin, who also lived with us, used to complain that there was a demon
With red eyes in the hallway looking into our room we shared.
Nobody believed her and thought it was figment of her imagination.
But my cousin was adamant in her beliefs and was so petrified that she began
To sleep in my mother's room with my mom.
So time had went by and I began to have an unsettling feeling that I was being watched.
Remind you, we lived on the lowest ground level of our apartment complex, so technically
Anyone could have been watching any of my family members through any one of windows.
Then one night while I was cleaning up in the living room, I walked across the living room
With the hallway directly in the center and in the corner of my eye, I saw an all black dark figure
To what appear to be a man sitting at the corner edge of my mom's bed hunched over and his
Chin resting on his hand. (much like the sculpture, 'The Thinking Man').
My heart literally dropped and I literally almost pissed on myself.
I was scared to go back to make sure I saw what I think I had seen.
But I built up enough courage and when I did—he was no longer there.
It happened again some time later, but I kept it to myself like I did the first time it had happened.
So we had moved far away from L.A and seven years later and we had moved,
My family were telling ghost stories they had encountered.
My sister was telling her story, and she told of the same exact image of a man sitting at the
End of my mothers bed and how whenever she was go back to check to make sure she was
Seeing right, he would be gone in a matter of seconds.
I gasped and told of the same story—And ever since then, I believed in ghost/entities.

The 'third eye' is a filipino belief that when its opened you can see all the ghosts. In short, your life is doomed.

I don't think so. I was just glad it was over. I only ever started telling my dad stuff when their mom would hit me for no reason.

Oh, this really isn't kinda scary for me, but... here:
When I was 8, my Grandma would always come to my house to watch me, while my mom was at work. One time my mom already left the house, and I was waiting for my grandma. She finally came, and told me she loved me and everyone, and to take care of my mom. She hugged me and cried, I was so confused why she was crying. But then my mom came home ringing the door bell, I answered the door, and told me that my Grandma died in a car accident, her car was hit by a truck. I remember being angry with my mom, cuz I thought she was joking, cuz I was just with my grandma. I yelled and ran to my grandma, but she wasn't there. I was terrified, and confuse. I still remember that day.

I remember reading about this. I don't know how but I ended up on a Facebook page about people who had experience with sleep paralysis, and it was scary. They were all sharing their stories on the Facebook wall/message board and it was just shocking to hear what they go through. I don't know what I would do if that happened to me.

Have you guys ever tried sleeping with the lights on? Maybe that would help. (Sleeping with the lights on actually makes me sleep faster, too. )

I read somewhere that, that happens when your mind wakes up before your body does. Its happened to me a few times when I'm not sleeping comfortably.

Oh, and did you guys read that thing about mirrors?
Our reflections are evil and they are from another world. They are obliged to copy our every single move, but they hate us. They say that our reflection has control over us, and that they can do evil thing to us.
