I had to return A Game of Thrones to the library before I could finish it and there were holds on it
So I just took out
and
from the library and I'm excited to read them.
On another note for book recommendations I suggest you get a goodreads account (goodreads.com). I get a lot of my ideas on what to read next on that site (no I will not friend any of you on it) and I've won a few free books too!
You should read The Deepest Blue by Lee Hayes. Just got finished reading it and it's such a good book. I thought i wouldn't like it when my friend suggested it to me because I'm not into the "ghetto" books that he reads but it was the exact oppoilsite of that. It had a great story line and you get sucked at the first page.

I didn't know there was a sequel to Passion Marks!!
I loved that book.
I don't know if many of you read often but I'm a reader so share gurls. What book are you currently reading? I'm currently reading The Help. I loved the film but the book is even better
I just finished the first book in the hunger games trilogy. Its the first book I've read on my newly purchased kindle. It was much better than I was expecting it to be, can't wait to see the movie next month.
There is a new book thread every month or so. We need to keep these going cause I love reading
Everyone should join goodreads.com and it gives you suggestions as to what books you may like to read next. It's great!
I just finished reading and
Gave them both 4/5 stars
I just finished reading The Elusive Quest for Growth by William Easterly (an economist at the World Bank) and it is a must read for anyone interested in economics, and especially if your interested in economic development on a global scale.
Easterly's does a great job in simplifying economic language and the book is extremely enjoyable with anecdotes and deadpan humor throughout. My only complain is that at times the book can be a bit depressing to read.
I have weird taste in everything so my choices may be horrid.
I read a book called "Flash Burnout" a few months ago that I liked.
I checked out a book called "Payback" by Andy McNab ( I read the sequel and enjoyed it) and another one, Hunger Games, which everyone seems to like, but I haven't read either of them yet.
