He's right, Gaga deserves a lot of respect for at least trying to make a difference.
Yeah. "All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing". If we all were more outspoken and fearless, the world would be better in all aspects. Sadly, people live in fear and hatred instead of love.
Acceptance and love for all. Not sure how they're going to achieve this, but whatever. It's like those Facebook games where posting a fruit determined by your bra color and relationship status apparently helps breast cancer.
The Foundation has yet to launch. You must have missed the announcement about the event at Harvard where they will lay out the goals and plans for how the Foundation will achieve their aims.
ugh didn't explain it right. I think bullying over gays has increased because Gaga has brought more awareness to it. alsdfjslkfsaldfjfl i'm horrible at explanations. hope you get what i'm saying.

And you need others people money for this? Gaga's rich, let her pay. Africa needs it way more.
it seems like more and more gay ppl are killing them selves ...which is weird because it's becoming more acceptable...you can marry now, dont have to hide in the army, you have all these campaigns , you have lady gaga and other celebrities supporting the cause, you would think more ppl would embrace and be proud..
You're extremely misguided. This very article proves that Gaga has done wonders for gay teenagers around the country struggling to come to terms with themselves. The whole point of Born This Way is believing in YOURSELF, and allowing that to be a change in the world.
This kid, due in some part to his love for Gaga, worked for the Trevor Project and the Human Rights Campaign. Are you going to tell me they've done "**** all" for gay rights?
Gaga rallied against Don't Ask Don't Tell and was recognized by the White House for her work in getting it repealed. That's not stan delusion; she got a letter from the White House thanking her.
I don't really know what more you want.
Legal discrimination in the western world is almost a non-factor compared to social discrimination, which is were Gaga has either done nothing or actually done harm to the cause.

I don't, because what you're saying is absolutely absurd.
Would you blame Martin Luther King for the existence of the KKK?
What's happened is Gaga has brought awareness to what was already happening. Bullying has always occurred in these numbers but people didn't pay attention. The gay rights movement is leading to more outrage about gay suicides, not more gay suicides.

This isn't the overall goal. A conference will be held at Harvard University to announce the main goal and purpose of the foundation. It's just a tag line for the cause.

I feel like because of all of this people are finding more strength to come out so I just think more people are killing themselves because more people are coming out, not necessarily a higher percentage of outed gays are killing themselves imo anyway

Hence why I said I'm not sure how they're going to achieve this. I am placing my bets on it all being very vague stuff about raising awareness or whatnot. But I guess there is a slim chance someone positive might come out of this foundation.

Gaga has donated to a wide variey of causes/foundations. She is taking a stand and starting one of her own, which will also spread awareness. People shouldn't criticize her for this
Bullying and suicides have not increased because of Gaga. It's because of Gaga and It Gets Better that these suicides are actually being put in the media and not disregarded and ignored. They've always happened. It's just that people weren't reporting it before.
