At First I thought she was black
And I thought she was a really bad singer
But when Blah Blah blah came out, I liked Tik Tok more, and I bought Animal, and thats where it all started
Tbh, these were my first thoughts "Who the **** is this bitch with her annoying ass song and how is she blocking Bad Romance from going #1" A couple of days later, it became my jam.
At first, I HATED Kesha when I heard tic tok. I convinced myself that it was a cheap hit and tried to copy Just Dance. I hated her more when blah blah blah came out and I was pressed when animal debuted at 1.
Although, my hatred was lessened when I heard your love is my drug (since I love that song). And I can't say I hate her anymore once I heard take it off. I am just able to appreciate her for the type of artist she is now.
When I heard Tik Tok for the first time on the radio, I imagined Kesha as 30 years old person, who is trying to rap but fails so damn hard. The song grew on me quickly after I saw the video - that Kesha was a young crazy party bitch
Wasn't crazy about it. I'm still not. I mean I still went and got the song from her website when it was free, but that's because I was a stan during that time. I was more impressed by her earlier unreleased material.
Everytime I went on itunes I saw the song in the top ten and always thought it was some ghetto trash, so I never looked it up. But when I did see her and heard the song, I realized she was a white trash sperm dumpster. And I still think so.
When I first heard it, I thought it wouldn't be a hit, it would instead be something that I constantly made my friends listen to until they liked it.
Then I heard it get some light radio play and I was sure it wouldn't be too popular, because I figured that she didn't have enough promotion.
Boy was I wrong.
I sure as hell love that song though.
Oh for timeline sake, I heard it in late August 2009. It was before school had started because I was still walking everywhere and I would strut down the middle of my neighborhood's roads when I listened to it
