Guys! Y'all know SHAKIRA has never done generic music, she won't start now, only because she might go work with some of the most popular Pop music producers! She has always kept her touch in the songs (let's take give it up to me out of the conversation of course), but look at her work with Pharrel! They are so different! I am so glad she is not giving up on trying! I bet she is going to serve us with an amaizng masterpiece!!!
Shakira is not an American artist. She's been selling on a world-wide scale since her debut album. Some people feel the need for her to conquer America again, when she's 20 years into her career. She can no longer compete with these young popstars, it's NOT going to happen. Shakira is just past that point of her career and personal life. She does music for the fans! It pisses me off when uninformed people undermine her credibility and all of her world wide success because her label stop marketing her in America.

i know shaki will put her spin on it like she wolf but still ugh. i guess it will help her on pop radio since she has struggled since hips don't lie. pop radio eats up all the dr. luke and max martin trash. look at katy, pink, and britney... lets hope its for her greatest hits so it can sell during the holidays like pink's..

I dont know if you are aware of, but this last album sold all those millions (I guess around 3) with like no promo, and she sold like nothing in the US, so I think even if she focus on US market and stops "caring" that much abt LA/Europe she'll still be huge
