I don't think it's an anti-gay slur. It's a word that is associated negatively with gay people but wasn't said in a way to hurt gay people.

Chris KNOWS he's in the spotlight, especially for aggressiveness.
I don't know why he doesn't try hard to control himself.
Oh well.

That's nice, but like I said, If Chris wants to STAY in this industry he better keep those cute lips shut.
People are only going to tolerate it for so long.

No, every member on this site doesn't resort to nonsensical shenanigans whenever their favorite artist isn't attacked.
And if Chris wasn't giving those "POPULAR WHITE PUBLICATIONS' a reason to create stories about it, they wouldn't be coming for him so much.
Chris is in the public spotlight and a self-proclaimed role-model and whether he or his fans like it, he is held to higher standard. If he ever wants to be at the top of the industry, a la his idol Michael Jackson, he's going to have to act accordingly.
|
Michael had many stories ran about him that were much worse than any of Chris' and he still stayed on top. Like I said, they pick on him and any fool can see it. If they treated everyone the same then I wouldn't have a problem with it, but I don't see them stalking Charlie Sheen to make sure he doesn't beat a bitch down. I don't see them keeping tabs on Sean Penn to make sure he doesn't get in any more hits at Madonna. I don't see them stalking Christian Bale to make sure his mother and sister are safe. So until we get a play by play on those men and every single move they make, I don't wanna hear **** about being a role-model. Humans get angry, and Chris Brown is human so they need to get over it.

I'm bi but I still use terms like "that's gay" and call some of my friends *** and what not. Does that make me a homophobe too?
|
No just makes you part of the "***" community. I'm gay and another gay calling me a *** isn't derogatory to me because it cancels itself out. It's like blacks calling each other the N word but if a white person uses it it has a racist connotation. Same goes for heteros calling gays "****" is a term used to bring a group down like i.e spic chink etc.

Now you know if any of those people you listed said ****** or tried anything like that it would be front page news
Did the media not go in on Christian Bale when his rant became public?

As long as he has a cute face and can belt out his little cute songs girls will buy it. After all, people have supported *****s, child molesters, devil worshippers, drug abusers, and even rapists in the past.

If he doesn't care about his image or career then why should anyone else. No one is out to get him because he makes being a target to easy.

For the time being, which is my point. The Chris/Rihanna scandal is long gone and yet they find any display of anger from him to bring it back to front page news. On top of that, they say he needs help when in reality, they're more concerned with his life than their own.

"When another player didn’t pass him the ball, the 22-year-old Forever singer, perhaps best known for beating up Rihanna"

Which hasn't even scanned 2 Million worldwide yet or sold a million domestically.
But, like I said, he can perform at the EBT awards next year, sweep up all the awards, and he and his fans will be satisfied. It's not like they have any real award shows to look forward to.

It doesn't matter if you're gay or straight, you should avoid using gay slurs.

This isn't that bad, seeing as I've heard men say worse things while playing basketball, but it still doesn't make it right either. Anyway, Chris needs to learn to control his language for at least a month or so. And, don't try to pin the blame exclusively on white people wanting to make him look bad. When it's people in general who know that they'll get hits from a new Chris "scandal" that will smear his reputation.

Well maybe Bale has seen the light and hasn't had any such issues since the tape leaked?
And obviously people are always more concerned with celebrities' lives than their owns
