Degrassi Nominated for an Emmy Award!
Degrassi received its nomination for a Primetime Emmy this morning. The series produced by Toronto's Epitome Pictures in association with MuchMusic and TeenNick, is nominated for Outstanding Children's Program. The nomination comes on the heels of Degrassi being honoured with the prestigious Peabody Award earlier this year. THE 63RD Annual Primetime Emmy Awards airs live, Sunday, September 18, on CTV.

Degrassi's 11th season returns this coming Monday, July 18 , exclusively in Canada on MuchMusic. Returning in the popular telenovella-style format, new episodes of Degrassi will air weeknights, Monday-Thursday, through Thursday, September 1 on Much, MuchHD, and MuchMusic.com.
