NO! They all share one thing in common, the names ending with "America." The Americas are NOT one continent as a whole. They are two different continents, North America and South America. It's basic geography really. Central America is NOT a continent. A geographical region that bridges North and South America together as a isthmus? Yes! Continent? NO!
Do they teach you all otherwise in Latin America? I'm curious because that is completely bizarre and new to the rest of the world labeling all three (North, Central, and South America) as one whole continent.
