I don't see it for any of those girls at this point
And whoever's got next certainly won't be 3rd gen of pop divas. Britney and her peers are 3rd gen. As far as modern pop divas since the start of mass media, it follows:
1st gen. - Diana, Tina, Cher, Donna, Aretha, etc.
2nd gen. - Madonna, Janet, Whitney, Mariah, Shania, etc.
3rd gen. - Britney, Beyoncé, Christina, Pink, Shakira, etc.
4th gen. is where we're at right now and that includes everyone who's debuted in the digita era. So, about 2007-present. I'm unsure of where to put the likes of Taylor and Rihanna since they came in the middle of last decade but they're probably more 4th gen. since their "it girl" status started on the cusp of the digital age.
And "wave" is probably a better term to use here since a real life generation is like 25 years or some **** lol.
