Good for him. I must say I am the least excited for his solo record, since I do feel he will go in the lane of the people he worked with so far and has a distinct voice suited for singer-songwriter/folk kind of music and I am not sure I am too fond of that. But He has a lot of potential and I feel the 1D sound was the closest to him than to the other 4 overall and I feel he could deliver an incredible album.
