Ke$ha - Cannibal/Animal (I'm counting the two releases as one)
I remember hearing Tik Tok when a friend posted it on facebook before it got big. I loved it at first, but quickly got bored. Then, when it started to get big, I fell in love with it all over again. Then Blah Blah Blah came, which is her greatest single IMO (i really dont get the hate for it). Animal was so surprising, she showed people that she wasn't a one hit wonder, and she could even do ballads. Cannibal was the same. It isn't a great as the original but it's still pretty solid, I just wish she waited and released a full new album next year.

N-Dubz - Love.Live.Life
Yes, I know, what the **** am I thinking, they are **** etc. But give the album a listen and I guarantee you will be surprised. I will be the first to diss Dappy but Best Behaviour was simply amazing, Girls is also pretty good. It's obvious the album is made to try and break America but I'm not complaining, I love it.

Best Behaviour | Love Sick | Toot It And Boot It | Girls | We Dance On

Olly Murs - Olly Murs
Joe, gurl bye. You shouldn't have won. You are awful. Olly should have won, and the sales agree. I LOVED his first single and his second single was alright too. The main problem I saw on XF was that he wasn't a strong ballad singer. Well, this album proves just the opposite. Plenty of brilliant and emotional ballads on here (such as the album highlisght 'Heart On My Sleeve', which should have been single #2), mixed in with music that can only be described as 'Olly music', he definitely has his own style and is unique rather than generic. It's songs that I could imagine milkmen humming along to. (

The Saturdays - Headlines!
Had this been a full album, it would have easily gone top 5 on my list. With only 5 new songs it is hard to think of it as an album/EP, but oh well. IMO I think it was just a way for the label to pretend that the fail of an era that was 'Wordshaker' never happened. It is, however, their best collection of songs to date, and deserves to be their most successful album/EP/mini-album/whatever.

Puppet | Died In Your Eyes | Karma

Diana Vickers - Songs From The Tainted Cherry Tree
Ever the Marmite of brit pop, I was never a fan of Diana on the XF. In fact, she was probably my least favourite of the series. However, when I heard Once, i was hooked. While Alexandra might hold the title for Best Winners Album, this is definitely the best album to come from a contestant to date. A little ballad heavy, but I think all the ballads stand up on their own and all the uptempos do the same. Fantastic album, and I cannot wait for album #2 next year
Top 5: Once |

btw, incase you didn't know, the bolded track in each 'top 5' is my favourite.
