PI isn't doing it for me either, I'm kind of disappointed, I KNOW they had better songs in their hands, I still think the album will be good. Plus having Gaga is always great, she always has extensive promotion, performs a lot,... It's always great to have Gaga active even if the material isn't as good as TFM.

And there are PLENTY of covers of praised songs that aren't given the same praise. In that vein, acclaimed songs covered on AI, X Factor, The Voice, etc, aren't always praised either. So I have no idea what point you're trying to make.

Pitchfork have given average reviews to acts that performs there. It'd make sense that you'd wanna perform there if you get good reviews from them.

They've given Bey, Gaga, Rih, Ariana, Carly, Fifth Harmony, Ciara and more good reviews as well as average and bad reviews depending on the quality of their work.
