35. Drake 'Fancy (featuring T.I. & Swizz Beatz) - On one of the best cuts from Thank Me Later & one of the best hip-hop tracks of the year, Drake & fellow rapper T.I. deliver some ace verses and a chorus you can't help but quote on occasion. Swizz's production here is sick, & the beat bumps hard.
34. Kanye West 'Power' - I did not like this at first at all, but once I listened to it a couple times it hit me. This song is Kanye being Kanye and he doesn't give a f*ck whether you like it or not. I love how different it is & it commands energy & confidence.
33. Christina Perri 'Jar of Hearts' - Beautifully sung & beautifully written, I was shocked to learn Perri had no label when I first heard this. Thankfully, she now does & I can't wait to hear more from her. JOH is most definently one of the best ballads of the year.
32. David Guetta 'Who's That Chick? (featuring Rihanna)' - GUILTY PLEASURE. This is song is generic autotune pop, but I do not care & nothing anyone says will convince me otherwise. It's hot, all thanks to Rihanna's as-usual confidence, which I love.
31. Trey Songz 'Can't Be Friends' - Smooth, emotional & heartfelt, this song is a gem on Trey's new album & I am glad it has gotten semi-recognized by the American public. It's a shame most people my age do not understand how great this song is truly is.
