There's certain artists who chase after their primes and the charts, and it's honestly so sad to see (we all know who they are). I'm so glad Bey has taken a different path and has made a point to prove you don't need to the charts for success. In fact, she's the biggest touring artist in the world and she hasn't had a number 1 in I don't know how long.
No one in the industry puts as much work and effort into their albums, bar none. You can see the attention to detail in the Lemonade visual. It's just incredible when you think about it. People tend to appreciate the fact that she makes albums and doesn't chase after the charts, it's refreshing and has only given her more creative freedom and longevity.

Yes exactly!
And for her to transition to this way so early in her career is astonishing. While most are trying to chase their last hit, lack any evolution, or chase new trends, Beyoncé is doing it her way and slaying because of it.

No because the music wasn't anywhere near as good.
She's far more interests as a musician now and didn't go the typical route of chasing chart success still. I understand why pop music and chart obsessed lovers are put off by this, they don't like her trying new things and evolving.

I do miss when she would communicate more with the fans. That's about it. She could at least serve us some BTS tea.

And what do you suffer about now?

I prefer the current hermit Beyonce. She's the most overrated artist at the moment (or ever?) and I see her on social media enough. I'm glad I don't have to see her in interviews, performing on my fave award shows, in the top 10 on the Hot 100, etc.

I do think so, and other many artists and albums too
But stay delusional thinking that Beyonce is a god that is perfect in everything she does
We all know she is not that involved in the writting and producing of her songs as other popstars and she has even been accussed of stealing writting credits.
Is it that difficult to admit your faves mistakes? I know Taylor is not a good performed and she doens't have a strong voice, I don't try to make her seem like perfect all the time like the hive does, but keep doing it, I'm not even going to try to explain it to you anymore how delusional you sound

Another example is Calvin Harris that writes and produced all his songs, most of them alone
If you need 16 writers to write a song I don't think you are putting a lot of effort in it tbh, so no, I don't count it

This thread is about BEYONCE not Taylor Swift or Calvin Harris, I'm sure they have a base thread where you can go and praise their work.

Wtf are y'all crazy?
She was literally everywhere from radio, TV, and movies during those eras. Her image was way more "manufactured" due to Matthew's way of managing her career. She rarely cursed, got upset, and made an effort to not show any emotions. She was completely guarded. She even kept her relationship with Jay a mystery for years.
Beyoncé right now is the most vulnerable and authentic she's been in her entire career, musically speaking. Y'all CAN'T be serious.
The woman doesn't do interviews, promo, nor does she properly even release singles. Failing to see how she's "overexposed"

I'm not getting into this songwriting discussion in this thread.
2 projects vs 1
2 is more than 1
2 > 1
1 album + 1 movie = 2wice the effort
That's it.

Actually, we know for a FACT that she's incredibly involved in the writing and production of all her music. Literally every songwriter who has worked with her has stated as such. Just because you want to focus on the people who try (and fail btw) to sue her "stealing writing credits", doesn't mean the rest of us are going to be that delusional. That's your issue.

Yes. She's so overexposed in the media now and doesn't seem like a human anymore.

If she's "overexposed" its not her fault. She does nothing.
IMO, she's underexposed.

Actually it's the opposite.
Everyone she works with says how involved she is lol.
Nice try I guess, would you like to pick another of the tired, textbook Beyoncé shades to try and use?

Beyoncé is still Beyoncé to me. For as long as she's still breathing and making amazing music, I have no reason to feel distressed
