I just listened to it and I actually really like it.
I'm not all that fluent in French but completely understand it, and grew up around French speakers.
I can absolutely tell how off the pronunciation is. A little too off, but maybe it is actually Cajun/Louisiana French?
I've heard people speak in Cajun French and her pronunciation is a lot closer to that than standard French.
After all the praise, I decided I would listen to it and I did not expect this. This song is so embarrassing. I don't get why she tried to sing in french for such a mediocre result, one of the worst accents I have ever heard.
I agree with all my French homies that her pronunciation is really weird and sometimes difficult to understand and some of the lyrics don't make sense, she lowkey butchered my beautiful language . Cute production though!

The entire album is terrible bar a few songs, and this is one of them.
I realize her French is tragic, and the grammar is off, but I think they literally just google-translated the English lyrics and went with it, which probably explains the translation issues.
But, melody is beautiful, and the production is fantastic.
Honestly one of her best, and I'm shocked it came from this album.
