China remaining neutral is probably for best. The US should have remained neutral too, they can always help out SK in other ways. Showing your power doesn't always result in your opponent backing down, it makes them retaliate even more. In fact I think that they should just let North Korea and South Korea resolve their own conflict, if this escalate into a full on war and if another country joins them it might result a domino effect just like in World War I, with the Triple Entente & Central Power allies declaring wars on each other, etc. Although with nuclear weapons, I doubt many would survive, hell even some of the survivors might not survive the aftermath considering radioactive fallouts would pollute the world's waters, etc.

Anyway, I feel like history is repeating itself...

What's next a cold war with Iran? These governments should sit the f*** down. Instead of wasting their money, time and energy fighting with each other, they should be helping out their own people. Then again, being the most powerful is the only thing that's on their minds.

Agree. China at this point in time would never side with North Korea. That would be a dumb political and military move to make.

+1 @ the U.S. should have remained Neutral too and I agree that the North and the South should try to resolve this conflict on their own without the help of outside powers. And I agree, history is definitely repeating itself....

Chinese military have stated that they need "vital space". China is waiting for 2014 for Americans to leave the Middle East so they can get oil from those countries with freedom. The supposed "vital space" will come from USA and Australia.
