He only is adding fuel to the fire and people will only follow him more closely with every quote or interview just to be able to question him. Ofcourse his sexuality shouldn't matter, but in a time where celebs still are closeted just for the sake of being blacklisted by TV outlets, radio stations and other platforms and outlets and/or endorsement deals, when they come out, it is still questionable to believe him for people I assume. Since at the end of the day he is a teen idol and him coming out would be sadly a nightmare for his management/PR. The fact there are currently only a handful of gay artists out of the closet says enough. And most of them have loads of trouble to maintain a succesful career.
Whether he is gay, straight or bi will be clear in the future at some point. But he doesn't seem like a bad guy. So I hope it won't end in a witchhunt by media outlets to "catch" him with someone.
Anyone has the right to clarify something that isn't true. Y'all are so obsessed with outing celebrities
The question is why he even feels the need to clarify. Even if he isn't gay, there's no reason to so vehemently deny that he is unless he has, on some level, some sort of problem with being seen as gay.
