I love me some Duff and always will. She is pop royalty, but she needs to find a label willing to let her see her vision through on an album. I'm sorry, but she was obviously not passionate about what BIBO became after RCA scrapped her folk-pop album. And while I've never heard a GOOD folk-pop album since Mandy Moore's "Wild Hope", they still should have let her release it or have done the double disc album she wanted.
We all know Hilary loves mainstream pop music, and she loves to sing it. But she should be allowed to widen her repertoire. She did it with Dignity, and it worked like a charm.
BIBO was a great album, and it did okay. And it's frustrating that so many songs were single-worthy on it, but at least she GAVE us an album, and is recording a new one!
She's working hard on her acting, and any fan knows that acting is her first love. So I don't see why fans are so angry.
why do people care so much if an artist promotes their album? i mean she gave you the new album so what's the problem?
It's frustrating to see an album that fans consider good and yet it fails to succeed due to poor promotion. If the album doesn't sell probably there's no tour.
