The era is dead and gone at this point, unless she DOES release "Gypsy" and it somehow garners huge attention from radio, but at this point, she knows, WE know, the era has taken a completely different turn than GaGa herself was anticipating.
She can release whatever the hell she wants to now since there really is no saving this era that has earned itself a terrible rep. So I say, Do What U Want to this era GaGa, it's yours to finish out, but honestly, she just needs to end it, and come back wowing all of us with material that is FRESH and ORIGINAL. :-)
