Thought I'd run through the chart rules & basics. Well it takes 15 weeks for a song to retire, but it doesn't leave the chart. When it eventually leaves the chart, it can never enter my chart AGAIN! It does have different rules but that's what makes my chart unique. I choose my top 50 based on what i have been playing for the week. If a song ois so new (such as Mariah Carey & Usher) it has a two week wait before it can enter.

I think the most important thing is to do your chart the way you want to do it. If you keep a song on the chart for 100 weeks because you still listen to it a lot, why not? I don't believe in those chart runs where songs slowly climb up, peak, and then slowly fall off. People always fall in and out and back in love with songs, and their personal charts should reflect that.
