She's worked with Luke since she was a teenager. (2005, I believe?) It's not exactly unbelievable that over the course of 4 years (2005-2009) they were able to whip up numerous demos. And Ke$ha wasn't paying for studio time/Dr. Luke's services. She was/is his pet project. Any financial investment made in her career was made by Dr. Luke himself.

I think you fail to realize that Ke$ha wrote songs since she was 14, some of them even ended up on Animal. She isn't broke anymore, but she was for the few years when she moved to LA alone to pursue her music career. Also, she sent her demos to RCA in 2005, sent from DAS communications (her management) and Luke and Max thought she was a great songwriter and impressed with her demos, so they signed her. No surprise, RCA didn't let her release her debut single till 4 years later and now she's a millionaire but she's still the same girl.

Yes. Her family was on an episode of The Simple Life, they lived in a small house in Nashville, her mother, Pebe, is a single mother of three. She is also a successful songwriter, and this did help Ke$ha secure studio time and connections. She dropped out of high school and moved to LA and caught the attention of Dr. Luke, who helped her get started from there. What do you people think her backstory is if you think she's lying

You don't straight up pay a producer to work with them. It doesn't run that way. Producers make money from royalties. Dr. Luke obviously thought Ke$ha was worth it, so he took his chances and it payed off. It's not a matter of whether you can afford a producer or not. They are not slaves. It all depends on how well the music performs.

So what's the point of this thread? Ke$ha hasn't claimed to be broke since Pre-Tik Tok and post-Tik Tok.

Also, she recorded demos and had a few thousand from back up vocals and co-writing before Tik Tok, but that's it really. She hasn't lied about anything.
