Ok so according to thw articles, the boy is the victim I just dont understand this world's logic. The teacher got arrested while the boy is the victim while both agreed to have sex.

The fact that the student was underage isn't really the issue, as the age of consent in most places is 16. The issue is that the teacher had sex with a student, even if the student was 18 the teacher would have still been arrested and gotten in trouble. Teachers cannot have sex with students. This teacher was stupid for doing what he did, he should have known better.

he's being charged sexual performance by a child so the male student was below the age of consent so yes he is the victim regardless of consent.

Not going to defend the guy but pedophile is actually a misnomer. Most people tend to associate the word when the adult is involved with a teenager.

Pedophiles are those who prefer prepubescent kids (kids that haven't gone through puberty yet). And this is clearly isn't the case with the victim being a teen.
