If people didn't stop and crowd around him when he was on campus he wouldn't be coming back though so i wish people would just ignore him.

Everything people are seeking-- love, peace, security, acceptance, purpose, etc-- can be found in Jesus, not money, relationships, sex, marriage, etc (all of those things will let you down and leave you empty, God never will). And the crazy thing is God isn't distant, he's not impersonal. He cares about each and every one of us individually.
You said, "But once you witness the power and love of God first-hand you'll know how all-loving he truly is." <---- this is so true. I wish more people were just willing to give him a try. For one moment just forget about everything you've been conditioned to believe. Be vulnerable for one moment and ask God to reveal himself to you. Say something like, "God I don't know if your real, I don't believe you are, but if you are show me". Don't worry about changing, come as you are. You don't have to "be right" to come to God. God is literally waiting with open arms to accept you.

Thank you sis I completely agree , there's a misconception that God is an angry, backwards and judgemental old man in the clouds, but this couldn't be more wrong! He doesn't want anything from you, no favours, sex, material things. He just wants us to be good people living by his word . Hopefully at least someone reading this thread will relate and ask to find God.

Obviously violence probably wasn't the best way to handle the situation, but I can't say he didn't deserve it. He was basically asking for it. 
Also, I hope yall are able to realize that not all religious people are like this. It's always the extremists that are the loudest (and most wrong). He's not a real Christian because if he was, he would've never gotten himself into this situation to begin with.

You're right. Many people have used religion to cause a lot harm and (ironically) spread evil. Religion itself is oppressive and can be used to do the most vile things. It's people like the pastor in that video who do thing contrary to what the Bible teaches who end up pushing people away from God. It's people who hate,, murder, steal and cheat in the name of Jesus who cause people to reject God. In truth, it's people who preach that God hates gays, transgenders, and lesbians that cause many from the LGBT community to feel that God is against them, which couldn't be further from the truth
The thing about true Christianity is that it's not about religion or works, it's about a relationship. If you wanted to know more about somebody, you'd just ask them questions and wait for their response, right? It's no different with God.
Edit: I thought your post said something about how you can't believe people can be Christians when the religion is worse than Judaism and Islam.

Organized religion in any form is what is evil, and is used as the excuse by most to not become a Christian, because it is so violent and judgemental. To be a Christian you do not need to go to church every Sunday, have the Bible read out to you and take Holy Communion, as you said it is a personal relationship between yourself and God, and that essentially is the church.
