I just went to her listening session in LA. I was completely blown away. I was expecting like a 4-5 song acoustic set since it was a free show in a yoga studio.

But it was like a 10 song set. 8 from the new album plus Heaven and Next To Me. Full band set up. I was literally standing like two feet from her right in front of the stage. Incredible. Plus she performed Breathing Underwater for the first time and we got a promo cd at the end with Hurts, Garden, and it on it. Y'all can judge for yourselves when it comes out tomorrow, but I think BU sounds like it could be a massive hit. Like it is a beautiful song and I can definitely picture whole stadiums like belting out every last word of it.

Pretty great. Definitely a step up from OVOE if you ask me.

I'm pretty sure she has performed everything except for Breathing Underwater and Shakes before. Shakes is a pretty standard ballad for her, but the chorus definitely elevates it above a lot of her other material.

Highs and Lows is probably gonna be the Next To Me of the album. It just has that fun soulful charm. ESLP is also such a powerful song live.

It might be just me but I'm extremely disappointed by this album. She had a really long time to make it as good as possible and it's just so plain boring and uneventful. "Hurts" still remains one of her best songs ever but sadly the others don't even come to close to it.

Not only do i think this better than her first album, its one of the best albums of the year. So brilliantly painful and emotional, without overselling it. Happen is breathtaking.
