Considering the song didn't even reach the Top 300 on iTunes after its massive video premiere, I would say that the stations are right in saying it's not popular enough to give spins. People just can't connect to it and aren't here for it. She should just move on to Gypsy and Jewels N Drugs (for urban) to try and salvage the last scraps of this era.

OBVIOUSLY it indicates public interest because people KNOW of the song due to the amount of spins it's getting compared to G.U.Y. Now I'm not saying it's unfair, Katy deserves it all. But what's unfair is that G.U.Y is getting literally no spins, hence the GP won't even get a chance to dislike the song because it doesn't even exists in their minds.

And when the G.U.Y video came out, I found it bizarre that even though it was the most watched video of the week/few days, Youtube failed to put it on their front page and even when you click on the "music" tab, it wasn't even there... Hence why I'm say she's getting sabotaged.

Since we comparing the Katy and Gaga, I'll just say that the fact that Katy is getting more spins for a song that isn't even in the top 100 on iTunes, is telling. Anyways, I think ARTPOP has been ruined, there is no coming back for this album because the media has already deemed it a FLOP. Tour, and then leave that album back there. But it will always be my fave Gaga album.

edit: And I thought Radio was about requesting music you wanted to hear. Not everyone is going to want to listen to same messy songs, examples being "Happy".
