Kath really is amazing and i love her, but she flopped. just like every other runner-up from american idol. and i don't think it's gonna be different with David A. i mean, do you think that Jordin would be as big as she is today if Blake had won or do you think that Blake would have flopped if he had won?
If Katharine had won that season she would've reached at least Gold and had top 20 hits from her album

The pattern is a coincidence. It doesn't mean Archuleta will flop. I think Jordin would be doing just as good if she were the runner-up. Blake would of flopped if he would of won. It's because his music isn't that good. And besides, the winner is going to get more promotion because, well, they were the winner. But Archie is getting good promotion, so I think "Crush" will do very well.

It's a good song. And who cares if he didn't take the John Mayer route? I for one am not a fan of JM. WOTWTC was the most overrated song of last year. There was nothing special in it.
