There is an insanely large gap between her level of talent / performing ability and her success. She's a sometimes gifted songwriter, but even that is overshadowed by the fact that Dr. Luke has had a hand in most of her biggest hits. It makes it a lot easier to question how much of her success can be tributed to her directly as opposed to the people she works with.

There are much better and much more important pop stars currently. She will not go down as a legend, but rather as a girl who made a lot of catchy songs. She's essentially the Mega Evolution of Paula Abdul.

Nothing really interesting about her aside from the fact that she has huge cans that weren't enhanced by surgery. She's just not my kind of girl/personality.

Her music is just bad, no wonder nobody wants to buy her albums. She makes horrible music videos and can't really dance or sing. She's also very unoriginal. I don't care about her personality.

I'm pretty ambivalent toward Katy; she's clearly capable of making great pop, as evidenced by such masterpieces as "Teenaged Dream" and "Birthday," but most of the rest of her catalog is middling. She's pretty spotty as a songwriter, both lyrically and melodically, and her persona is fairly uninteresting.

When she gets me in that sweet spot with one of her songs I'm hooked, but when she doesn't I don't have much use for her.

I'm almost to the point where I love Katy. I love ha personality, like, she doesn't take herself too seriously and she just likes to turn up and have fun. I love that about her. I notice vocally she's getting better, and I can tell shes really trying to improve Katy, the artist, so that she can have longevity. 'I Kissed A Girl' made me pay attention to her, 'Teenage Dream' made me like her, and 'Prism' made me fall in LOVE with her.

I'm close to stanning for Katy. I've always LOVED her music, and i don't understand all the hate and lack of success she gets (grammy wise). She can make great songs and hits, has a great personality, loves her fans and is never rude to them.

Her performances are visually breath taking.

Her style of music, and fashion is great.

Probably one the most down to earth pop stars.

The most talented hitmaker, her songs are classics, she is the most beautiful popstar ever, her acoustic performances are amazing and her body is fire.

She has a distinctive sound and style about her that allows her to pull off pop songs very well. You can't tell me you can imagine most other pop stars doing the song "Teenage Dream". Her image as a whole is one of the more appealing aspects of her artistry. Her personality and her ability to bring out the best of typical pop music gives her a commercial edge.

A talented rapper. Delivers superb verses when she applies herself entirely. Fantastic flow, vulgar lyrics, Azealia deals gritty, filthy rap over super catchy beats.

Her attitude and bad temper have made her a liability in the music industry where some artists choose to avoid her.

That bad temper also makes her an easy troll target, further eating away at her frail image.

I love her, and have been a fan since early 2012. Saw her live @ Mermaid Ball LA and it was one of the best concerts. Though I do admit that 2013 was a bad year and I kept quiet on her for the most part, I have hope that her leaving her label will allow her to release the quality music (she claims) to have ready.
