I don't think so. Too overproduced and uninspired for the current market which is looking for "real" artists rather than cookie-cutter attractive young people who sing like the ones easily found in the k-pop industry.

Gang am Style was a meme, but still a smash? Are you saying songs like the Macarena aren't smashes either? It wasn't a conventional hit by any means but it sold 4 million in the US with little airplay, had cultural impact and is still the most viewed music video of all time.

Well, we can tell her songs apart to start with and her voice is easily recognizable. Also, she has credits on almost every song on ANTi and she tried to go "artistic" with her current era (and with Unapologetic as well). Can't say the same about the k-pop artists I've checked out so far.
