It will go #1 unless some freak situation happens. Adele's peaked in sales (sooner or later airplay). Pitbull will peak in airplay soon. LMFAO will peak in airplay by the time Katy will get higher A.I. Everything's in her favor. Don't call it out so soon, this is just it's first week in the competition.

Do not forget about How To Love. That song might just block Last Friday Night from reaching #1. Right now, I think HTL and LFN are the two songs with the most potential.

Ok, incredible sales by Perry this week.. I expect less but that's amazing! And if she will be #1.. God, she's NOT peaking, of course she won't be #1 this week, that's for sure but she will be in the next weeks.. There are a lot of weeks to coming and for smash.. there's no need of any freak situation...

her sales advantage is getting smaller and she has the airplay disadvantage and unless it peaks at 150M like ET and keeps on selling +200K for 2 months I dont see it going #1.

It could happen anyway. If she does some TV promo when she is at its peak on radio.

Well, like I said, you can't call it out on it's first week in the competition. It's airplay is steadily growing 1.7-2m+ daily, it will already be Top 20 overall by Friday (go figure ), and will keep going. That disadvantage will change quickly when all of it's competition peaks as it's still growing.

Your forgetting something, it has no promo whatsoever and it has no music video..

its been gettting huge radio updates for the past weeks and it doesnt seem to be slowing down, its smashing all 3 formats (Rhythmic, Urban and Pop) and Pop is really starting to pick it up.

The digital sales will pick up dont worry Waynes performing Sunday night at the BET awards and im sure he will sing it. Dont forget the most important factor: Music Video ... once the video is released this song will explode digitally. u cant forget its only been released for 4 weeks now. give it time

as Adele is still at 170M AI (more than huge.) LFN still has to sell 120K more than adele.... and Katy has sold 235K the week of the video release.

The usual thing to happen is that no matter how stable this becomes, its sales will decrease to a 200K level or even less.... and if she loses the #1 on iTunes... I dont see it going back there unless some extra TV promo comes in

This. I mean, it's doing well compared to all of the other singles that he has released for this album so far, but I think that people are mistaking that sign for a surefire number one. It has the potential but there's a lot that needs to be done.

Give Me Everything - 136 million (only because I don't think it can gain 10 million in a week on BDS tracking)

RITD - 188 + 150 = 338
GME - 200 + 135 = 336
