Um, didn't the electro-pop/dance-pop sound become abundant before GaGa stepped out?
"Sexy Back," "Gimme More," "Forever," "Hung Up," "Don't Stop The Music" and many other songs were hits and extremely popular before GaGa was even thought of or before Black Eyed Peas jumped on the bandwagon. Of course, the trend became bigger as most trends do, but I wouldn't say GaGa or Black Eyed Peas led the movement. They were just successful products of it.

Gaga stans are just being biased all over again.
The original mainstream artist to do dancepop was Gwen back in 2004.
It "blew up" after 'Blackout'

YES
Music was already going in that direction before Gaga and BEP last albums but because they had the most success in 2009, Their stans like to think they caused some sort of revolution when really, they just BENEFITED from the trend that was already in motion.

It hasn't been a year since the new decade started. I guess Ke$ha is the one who led it in the new decade since she had the first #1 song of the new decade.

Pretty much. I think Ke$ha is a foreshadowing of what the music industry is going to be in a couple of years.
Oh dear.

It was the first #1 song of the year 2010, but GaGa & BEP's HUGE hits at the close of the last decade set the standard for the songs being released in this new decade of music we are in.

I guess RB spending 5 weeks at top is a compensation for Pon De Replay spending 5 weeks at #1 in the Digital Charts without hitting #1 in the BH100 duo to Airplay. Fair enough.

Maybe in your opinion, but I believe that thanks to both of their hugely successful megahits they had jump started this new era of music in this new decade.
There was obviously dance/pop stuff released in the last decade, but none of it was reaching the top of the charts until GaGa & BEP started owning 2009 with downloads. Look at the #1's from the 2000-2009 decade......there really isn't much that hit the top of the charts that sounds like what we hear now.
Now anything & everything we hear not only has that dance/synth-pop sound, but all of it is also topping the charts. I'm just saying I think that they helped set the current standard of what's going on in this decade, I'm not saying that it's some sort of award worthy achievement.

It's official, Miley's slowly but surely reaching flop status with this era.

All we need is Two More Lonely People to be released. Because honestly, this song is incredible.

Shark In the Water is continuing to fall
The song was climbing pretty fast for a while (at least digitally), but it seems like it's stalled. Hopefully it rebounds before it falls off the chart.

"Can't Be Tamed" peaked higher than "Ride." "Ride" is actually becoming a successful single. "Can't Be Tamed" was already successful with a peak of number eight. "Can't Be Tamed" has been falling for a few weeks. Seriously, this shows nothing of the sort.
You just wait until "Two More Lonely People" is released...
