It's true. Sales are so bad that 10k is enough for a top 50 debut, even.

As for the $0.99 sales, I don't see why they wouldn't be counted.

That would suck, because people who purchased the 99¢ album is because it's cheap, and if it doesn't contribute to the sales, this will upset fans because if fans knew it wouldn't have contributed to the sales they probably would have just bought the album on iTunes.

I hope she debuts at #1. Her first #1 album.

Someone earlier mentioned that they don't count sales of albums that were sold for less than half of the retail price. That was just talk though.

Amazon's mp3 store only represents 2% of the market and the Best Buy giveaways aren't being counted. I still think she'll do a bit less than a million. Taylor's album tracks were selling better on iTunes at this stage.
