reputation matters...first impression is a lasting impression

if you show up late, drunk, and lazy for 1 show - people will remember & know not to buy the 2nd time around. give them a show they can't stop talking about - they'll make sure to buy tickets as soon as they go on sale. word spreads...if people hear from their friends that this artist gave a ****** show...they'll be cautious too. likewise if it was amazing...they'll know that so & so said their last concert was amazing and think about getting a ticket for themselves.

when the focus has been on hair, fashion, and quick lil singles...songs that nobody wants to see translated live perhaps...other things may suffer

Rihanna is a very "different" performer which isn't universally appealing. She isn't the objectively "great" performer in the same vain as someone like Beyonce, but she has her own style and sticks with it.

Personally, I love her performance style and the way she presents herself on stage. Yes she can be lazy as hell and it's super annoying when she doesn't sing her songs, but whatever.

I still love her and she's still winning so if she's good, I'm good.

Also. I don't think she's into tours that much. Her shows lack high level production, she refuses to have a connection with the audience, she always perform half of the song, even with the backing vocals, she doesn't give too much energy and also half of the songs are cut into 1-2 minutes, she's always late.. Everybody want to see Rihanna, but i doubt they'd go more than one time. It's just her reputation. Hopefully she'll focus more on tours when she gets older.

He touring stats in the US are so weird/tragic given how may hits she has there....Justin Bieber is bigger touring wise shich is crazy...The quality of the show has nothing to do with the stats in my opinion...Justin Bieber has better stats than Rihanna and he's well you know how he is....So yeah I don't know why maybe because the media like doing bad articles about Rihanna.. I don't see many negative reviews on Justin's shows or any male artist for that matter... Beyonce, Taylor Madonna and Adele are the only solo female artists that can compete with male bands touring wise. This summer's Formation tour average gross is out of this world. I've never seen anything like it.

I think he meant releasing single after single. She doesn't give too much for singles either. She has the power to top the charts but she's moving on so fast. Like she did with kiss it better after work. Then this is what you came for and at the same time needed me. It's like she doesn't give two ****s to perform the songs and create an impact and get the people into the story of the songs. She's fastly changing them, releasing some videos, performs one time or if we're lucky, few times the singles and that's it. Of course, she has the power to make them hits, but she's not focusing.
