Supporting Actress is IN for an upset, it's historically the category with the surprises, and this year's fronturnner Melissa Leo received backlash because of her aggresive in-your-face campaign

This definitely not a predictable catagory.
Id be soo pleased if Helena wins.

Something tells me Ms. Leo will pull off the win. Some may be overestimating the backlash. How many voters could it sway? I'm not 100% sure though. Bonham Carter may be able to pull the upset if there is one there. I think TKS will win big and I do think it will take at least one of the supporting categories.

I'm betting Melissa Leo as well...
The Academy rarely awards British actors, and this year they will already award a British movie as Best Picture and Firth as Best Leading Actor, so I think Helena Boham Carter is a shoe out.
If HB(i)C wins Supporting Actor, The King's Speech will sweep the awards. If Leo wins, it'll be a balance. If Hailee Steinfeld wins, it's both a token win for a film that got plenty of Oscar love and could be more telling of an interesting night.
I think Leo's performance is stronger than Helena's as much as I love her. If anyone could take it away from her is Hailee Steinfield IMO. Firth, Portman and Bale are a lock, though.
I'm excited to see if TKS will take TSN the big award. I'm rooting for TKS!
