Celine Dion - A New Day Has Come
Celine Dion - My Heart Will Go On
Jordan Sparks - The Cure
Spice Girls - Viva Forever
Christina Perri - Jar Of Hearts
ADELE - Someone Like You
OneRepublic - Apologise (Original Version)
Kelly Clarkson - Save You
Kelly Clarkson - Already Gone
Tina Cousins - Wonderful Life (Slow Ballad Remix)
Avril Lavigne - Innocence (Thanks to MrDeeds for reminding me of this amazing song)
And I'm not sure if these are ballads... They're probably mid-tempo pop ballads so I'll include them anyway.
Britney Spears - Unusual You
Nelly Furtdao - Try
P!nk - Who Knew
Kelly Clarkson - Sober
I'm positive there are MANY more that "slay" me, but I just can't remember at the moment.
My top 3 favorite artists are the vocal trinity but when it comes to ballads only Vanessa Williams can melt my heart. Her songs are just schmaltzy. I get emotional relief whenever I listen to her songs.
Not many songs make me cry but this one does especially the line "i try to reach you, i can almost feel you, you're nearly here and then you disappear". It gets me everytime <3. I'mj still waiting for the bitch to sing it live;

Maybe [one of the] the best song[s] Beyoncé's EVER sang, both lyrically and musically. I can completely relate to it. This songs produces a great ammount of emtion in me. Usually Beyonce doesnt sing background with male vocalist however the vocal chemistry is great with Rico. I'm waiting for her perform this too.
The first time I listened to it, I got bored and said I didn't like it. But now, this song is has grown on me and is fantastic! The lyrics are beautiful. The composition of the song is out of this world.

4) If I Ever Fall in Love again- Shai
You know the music is good when the acapella version is always better than the regular one.. Props forever go to groups like Shai. The vocal arrangement and melody is just breath taking.
It's hard to choose a favorite among so many of Whitney's great tracks, but "The Greatest Love of All" is one of the best, most powerful songs ever written about self-preservation, dignity. Its universal message crosses all boundaries and instills one with the hope that it's not too late to better ourselves. Since it's impossible in this world we live in to empathize with others, we can always empathize with ourselves. It's an important message, crucial really. And it's beautifully stated on the album. And do I really have to say anything about The Voice?
When I heard Fantasia sing this song on Idol, I instantly broke down into tears. The message of the song is powerful and the way Fantasia sings it really makes you believe, she puts so much soul and heart into it. There is a reason fantasia won idol.
