35 - 31 Best Albums
35. Three Days Grace - Human
Human is a far cry from Three Days Grace's magnum opus One-X, and new vocalist Matt Walst's best Adam Gontier impression is hard to buy, but there are enough infectious choruses worth returning to.
34. Kelly Clarkson - Piece by Piece
Piece by Piece feels like a half-assed attempt at a quality album to get out of a contract, especially when its dated electropop sound is considered. But Kelly's vocal performance save it from being a complete disaster, and there are some real gems deep in the album worth digging into (War Paint, Nostalgic, Bad Reputation).
33. Ciara - Jackie
Jackie sometimes suffers from a dated sound, but Ciara serves every track with sass and personality, and the throwback R&B ballad and lead single I Bet is hard to dislike.
32. Meghan Trainor - Title
Anyone who expected something deep or exhilarating from Meghan after hearing All About That Bass for the first time were most likely disappointed by her debut (the record is 32 minutes, yet still feels short on diversity), but on Title, she solidified herself as a competent singer and hook writer.
31. Demi Lovato - Confident
Nothing on Confident quite reaches the blistering, bi-curious high of Cool for the Summer (
), but Demi is a flawless, defiant, and unapologetic vocalist, who lends each of these serviceable tracks a great deal of talent.
