The OP explains it well, the new racism is "there is no racism" and ATRL has proven that point several times.

Bigotry against white people is about as big an issue as meninism and hetereo-phobia.

Because one poster said it and everyone just ran with it They know damn well any race can be racist towards another

That makes no sense? You're asking where white people are made fun of, but then confirming it yourself with the jokes.
So you think it's more acceptable to joke about people like me even though my ancestors were treated just like the ancestors of POC?

Black people, or people of colour, can't be racist because racism is the systematic oppression of people who did not set up the system (white people versus every other POC), which is not just institutionalised but embedded into every fabric of society, from the education system, justice system, media, etc. For that reason, people of colour can't be racist because we do not have a system that can oppress one another, neither do we benefit from racism like white people have been since the beginning of time. The word you're looking for is prejudice.
White people created racism to dehumanise and degrade non-whites. Even if you think you're not a reflection of your ancestors, you’re a white person and that word carries weight.

I know a Hispanic person who thinks black people "hold themselves back" by acting "ratchet". I mean that's another story but my question is by this logic is he technically not racist?

But please stop the whole "White discrimination" nonsense. White people just need to collectively take the L and realize that because of their awful forefathers, minorities are forever allowed to clown them and speak out against them. It's the least blacks, native americans, Mexicans, Asians, and any other group can enjoy. White people still own most of the world, so stop trying to act like you're the oppressed ones. Especially gay and straight, white men.

Fixed
And I called this so long ago. I've been saying for years that racism has made no positive progress and that this new generation is racist as hell but will still hang out with their "minority friend" and say racist things to them as "jokes".

This is where things get dicey.
I've seen minorities much more racist than whites. By my own eyes, while I see whites doing this stuff on tv or something, basically never directly. There's more of a thing with minorities against each other.
When a black says ching chong to an Asian, and do the 'Asian eyes", is that not racist?
When a latino store owner follows a black around his store assuming s/he will steal is that not racist?
Or an Asian not hiring a latino because of stereotypes?
How do we draw a line.

So it basically doesn't exist?
Meninists are people too lazy to google what feminism is and heterophobia and reverse racism aren't real because prejudice and systems of oppression are not the same thing. People in power can't be oppressed.

This.
POC can be just as racist as white people. I hate when people try the whole "it's not racist, it's prejudice" it's like saying "it's not red, its blood orange"

Unfortunately, closer examination of the data suggests that millennials aren’t racially tolerant, they’re racially apathetic: They simply ignore structural racism rather than try to fix it.

Too true, but this is obvious already.

I can't believe these results. I thought our generation wasn't going to turn out this way, even with my fellow whites. I thought we were finally learning. I'm so horrified for the future.

And I can't at people being so bothered by affirmative action. Really?
It's obviously not meant to last forever, it's a quick band-aid like solution for a problem that most of the people complaining about aren't even trying to make better. And the evidence of that is in the results of this poll.

Just teach your kids family and friends and try to influence the white people around you thats all you can do really racism will always be around sadly its too deeply ingrained in peoples minds. I dont really get how people expect racism to go away honestly the racists teach their kids to be racist and so on.

So much tea in the OP.
I remember when Obama got re elected people in my dorm didn't speak to me for two weeks even tho I never claimed to be a democrat or that I supported Obama( I did).
I agree that the new racism is to simply deny that it exists. People make ignorant remarks and its ok. I feel that the only way for a Caucasian person to understand is to educate them. They will never know what it's like to wake up and feel your skin is a burden to them. They believe its non existent but it's simply more subtle than before. The incidents in Oklahoma prove this also.
I do believe that there is prejudice from POC towards white and I think it stems from the fact that POC are often stereotyped and not treated as individuals while whites can be seen as individuals, and are still the standard of beauty. We have a VERY long way to go.

I'm not so sure this study signals a bad omen for race relations in our country. If anything, I think it highlights an ignorance among white Americans in regards to the plight of POC in our country. The one thing that really does worry me is this idea that people think white people are just as likely to be victims of racism as black people. One look at society and that can be seen as patently false. I feel like these findings may overall say more about how we want to aim for a truly post-racial society.
That being said, claiming that racism is over is a slap in the face to those who experience it on a daily basis. Yes, it still exists. But yes, we can eradicate it.
