Album Review:
Kicking off my list is the dance album by Miami-based, Cuban American MC Pitbull for Planet Pit. This album will surely make you dance if you listen to the entire tracklist as it features a number of great collaborations from the likes of T-Pain, Ne-Yo and Sean Paul. Pitbull introduces himself on the first cut as 'Mr. Worldwide'. After that, he offers a number of collaborations starting with his smash hit for 'Give Me Eveything' with Ne-Yo, and Nayer Afrojack. Marc Anthony does the chorus part for the track 'Rain Over Me'. T-Pain adds flavor to the first single 'Hey Baby (Drop It To The Floor)' and joins Sean Paul for 'Shake Señora'. The latest single 'International Love' which features vocals from Chris Brown is a hit in the making. Despite the number of collaborations, Pitbull remains to be the highlight of each track. The album ends with the irresistible 'Something For The DJs' which samples a classic childhood rhyme. Pitbull definitely managed to deliver one great dance album which helped him to become a big hit for the year 2011.

Album Review:
Nicki Minaj had her breakthrough last year and looks like she is on the right path on becoming one of the best female rappers in the music industry. Her debut album Pink Friday, which was released late last year has made its way to my top 20 albums this year. What can I say, I have come to love this girl as she is damn everywhere. Her album shows her different sides from her crazy, fun, angry and soft side. The album starts with the catchy 'I'm The Best', then it followed by the most aggressive track for 'Roman's Revenge' where Eminem is featured. She shows a bit of her softer side for 'Right Thru Me', 'Save Me' and provides us with an inspiring track for 'Fly' with Barbadian beauty Rihanna killing the unforgettable chorus part. Nicki hooks up with Drake for 'Moment 4 Life'; Kanye West with the another standout track for 'Blazin''. She also sampled some classic tunes which sounds refreshing for her collaboration with with Will.I.Am for the 'Video Killed The Radio Star' ripoff for the fun track 'Check It Out' and her huge hit last year for the Annie Lennox 'No More I Love You's' sampled track for 'Your Love' which is one of my favorites. The phenomenal track 'Super Bass' is the main highlight for Pink Friday which came to be her signature song so far. Nicki Minaj proves that she is her to stay, I'm looking forward for what she has in store for us next year. More great collaborations and features plus more signature hit singles.
