Just a spot away from the top five comes the surprise of the year for me. I went to listen to it expecting nothing at all, but the album got me at the first song and I was amazed how incredible it has turned out to be when it was over. I feel like Phillip was okay on Idol, but I was not really into this whole season to be honest. Back to the album, I was really shocked how fast I got into it. I can't really explain what I like about 'The World From The Side of The Moon' but maybe it is the amazing fusion of country, pop, a little bit of jazz and his great voice coming all together to create this unique style and vibe. If you love a soulful, jazzy voice with a bit rock and pop in it, you should definitely check this album out cause it really is amazing. Standouts include Man On The Moon, Home, Gone, Gone, Gone, Tell Me A Story, Where We Came From, Drive Me and Wanted Is Love.
With just the TOP 5 left, I thought I would give you a quick recap of the albums in the countdown so far. Stay tuned for my TOP 5 ALBUMS, to be revealed soon, starting later today. Thank you all for the comments, you've been great so far

Recap
First in my top five comes an album that probably will be a surprise to some of you, but which I really love. I've liked Haley since I first saw her on Idol and she quickly became one of my favourites on the show. Since finishing third in Season 10, she may have failed to climb the charts but I've loved this album since it came out. It delivers an amazing sound, quite different from anything on the market. I can't help it but fall in love with her raspy voice and her growls - I'm all in. As for the album, Listen Up is a enjoyable listen from beginning to end delivering a mixture of some uptempos and amazing balads. It just gets me in a special mood everytime I listen to it and that's what I love most about it. Some of my favourites include Free, Wasted Tears, Undone, Now That You're Here, Keep Coming Back, Hit The Ground Running and Let's Run Away.

At number four comes an incredible talent - Emeli Sandé and her stunning debut Our Version Of Events. I absolutely love her and everything about this album! It is so real, heartfelt and without any gimmicks at all. I love how throughtout the whole album the emphasis is on her voice and talent. She is hands down my favourite new artist this year, I just can't not love this woman. I already got tickets to see her on her upcoming tour in March and I can't be any more excited to go. As for the album, once I start listening to it, it feels like it just slips away in a few minutes, it just flows so well. I can continue talking about how amazing Emeli and OVOE are but I think you get my point I leave you with my favourite tracks, which include Heaven, My Kind of Love, Daddy, Mountains, Maybe, Suitcase, Breaking The Law, Next To Me, River, Read All About It, Wonder, Easier In Bed and Beneath Your Beautiful.

Opening the TOP 3 comes another album by a British artist - Ellie Goulding's Halcyon. I loved her first album Lights, but this is greatness on a whole new level. I love how she tried a different sound and I think it suits her voice better - it's a darker, more edgier record with completely different vibe than her last album. There's no need to go talking about Ellie's talent cause it is evident. I love this kind of voices particularly, I think it is quite unique and different and creates a great feeling about the whole record. I love how real and honest it feels and also the different sounds that create this feeling of artisticity. I feel like from this moment on there's really no need to state my favourite tracks as I love these next albums to bits but if I had to I'd say Don't Say A Word, Anything Could Happen, Only You, Halcyon, Figure 8, Hanging On and Need Your Love are the standouts.
