Britney Spears may have been a better dancer at her prime but Lady Gaga is much more well rounded as a performer: she can sing (like really sing), she can dance (she's not great at it and isn't praised as such but she still includes choreography in her shows), she can play several instruments to orchestral level (is a classically trained pianist/was a child prodigy) and also has the production, set design, imagery, visuals and fashion to go with it. Plus, her versatility is something that is very rarely seen in pop, so she's able to switch it up and do a variety of genres with ease (she literally just put her tour in support of her Grammy winning jazz album with the legendary Tony Bennett to bed).
