Shut up with that icon/role model bull****. The raising of a child happens IN THE HOUSEHOLD. If girls are looking to ROBYN RIHANNA FENTY for guidance on relationships and life, they have way bigger problems and need to sort their life out or be placed into foster care because of the failure of their parents.

This is such an annoying argument. Rihanna is nobody's role model and it's become very clear lately that she is not claiming to be one.

I'm tired of everyone's sheep mentality when it comes to celebrities. Is it too much to expect people to think for themselves? If a girl justifies staying with an abuser because some pop star they don't even know did, then chances are they aren't smart or resilient enough to leave on their own accord anyway.

Like it or not, situations like these DO involve complex feelings. Rihanna is granted them because she is human and doesn't live in the margins of your pre-packaged ideals of how she should think and feel. And she is talking to Oprah about them because this a portion of her life story.

So what's the issue?

She loved Chris but does that mean she is never going to love again? And his problems clearly have not been fixed. I hope after this interview she leaves it alone and moves on with the right help. And yes, moving on will be difficult but it's not impossible. There is better love out there for her, especially from someone who won't hurt her.
