Singles 1-3 were perfect. Criminal was a massive mistake, but I'm not really sure what she could have released in it's place.
The biggest problem of the era was the lack of promo. It was basically non-existent, and the tiny bit of promo she did do on the first week was simply terrible.
I'm a Circus stan, but Criminal is better. And the video is perfect, so I don't see why stans hate. There's more to life than just charts and sales
UY is the best song she's done since being back. It gives that Ray Of Light/William Orbit sound we've been dying to hear from her and I will NOT tolerate the disrespect
1. Inside Out
2. Till The World Ends
3. Hold It Against Me
4. I Wanna Go
5. Criminal
Inside Out as first single would've been an epic and exciting risk. Like, I have sexual dreams about the Femme Fatale era starting off with a video of Inside Out (very dark and dirty video with hot dancing) being dropped on Youtube without any warning and everybody having a collective orgasm at its brilliance. And then "Till The World Ends" being a worldwide smash with huge promo.

Exactly. Plus everyone was so desperate for new Britney music, that the first single WOULD have debuted at #1 regardless.
All we needed was Ellen, Jonathan Ross, Alan Carr, The View, Xfactor UK and a REAL VMA performance
This plus SNL witch is also a huge promotion platform! This is what gets to me, that when the music is so amazing, she doesn't promote it. The music itself deserves more.
