The One Thing by Shakira, maybe not the most generic ever but it's up there.
I like it though.

Neon Lights. The verses are good but the chorus and everything else just sound so....cheap. Definitely one of the worst WFL clones to show up.

A lot of DEMI is generic tbh, as with Pitbull's discography. This song is smashing in Australia and I can't stand it one bit

But Roar by Katy Perry and Call Me Maybe... I definitely have more but those two are at the top of my head at the moment.

Sis it has one of the most predictable rhyme schemes ever. I mean, it rhymes crazy with baby with maybe in the chorus
I agree with your assertion of Demons being generic. Also Coldplay's Paradise.

Lol, of course another stanbase war a "name songs by pop girls I hate" issue again
The most annoying/generic music I hear is the so called "Iconic"/"Impactful" crap your faves have been releasing their entire careers.

It seems kind of nonsensical to call a song "most" generic.

Actually it only rhymes "baby" with "maybe" in the bridge. Critics actually noted that her rhyming "maybe" with "crazy" in the chorus is
part of what makes the song so distinctive and catchy.
A simple song is not necessarily a generic song.

All the recent World Cup related songs, anyone naming Top 40 pop songs needs to listen to those.

For all the people saying Call Me Maybe. There aren't any songs on the radio that song like CMM. The song is simple but not generic.
