Pepole act like it did really poorly while it, first of all, cracked the BB Top 100.
Reached Top 80 [peaked at 78], almost went Top 20 on R&B [Peaked at 21], peaked at 2 in the New Zealand Singles chart and charted at 55 in the Australian Singles Chart.
It's charting at 16 on BB Hot Dance Club Play right now, which doesn't mean alot, but that's something alright.
And lets not forget the song didn't really got any kind of promo.
She's a DEBUT artist, if artist are gonna go anywhere, they most likely have a somewhat hit single to get eyes on them, I could see if this was her second album or something.

Anyways, if this single flop then I'd agree with you calling her Nicole V2 but for now, I think you shouldn't call say her music career is dead.
