Heres an essay by Duca:
I love everything about Britney and I’m her biggest stan and I really can't describe what she means in my life with words, but I’ll try:
- She's an awesome singer and dancer. She's beautiful, fun, cute (she hurt her feet trying to spy Brad Pitt at his home
), sexy and has the best smile ever.
- She hasn't changed and she's still down to Earth. She interviews her make-up artists, dancers etc. at a diner before they're hired. I love it when she said that career and material things are important, but what matters most is sharing those experiences with the people closest to you.
- She's a huge humanist, she made a lot appearances at the Louisiana’s summit hospital to promote the cancer awareness rally. During the Teen Choice Awards 2003, she didn't sit to watch the show, she spent the time backstage with the make-a-wish kids and her family.
- She doesn't pretend to have all the answers to everything and she admits when she's wrong.
- I loved it when she stood up for the celebs in sexy poses on magazine covers: "Well, some people might say it's just to make money and sell magazines. But another reason - a better reason, and the one I choose - is that they do it to inspire people."
- One of the things I like the most about her is that she doesn't diss other artists.
- Even Madonna is her huge fan, and P!nk, Colin Farrell, Fred Durst, Tom Cruise love her too, and the list is never-ending.
- At one point, she had her bra size discussed by the entire world, that's how HUGE she is.
- A lot of people talk **** about her, but she takes the high road and she learnt to laugh at what they say and let go. I love how she doesn't give a **** about the paparazzi.
- Her music is unpredictable. She changes and grows with her fans and each one of her albums is different. She sings about being not a girl, not yet a woman on one album, and that has already changed on the next one.
- She wrote almost every track on her best album ("In The Zone"). One track from that album, "Everytime", is the perfect break-up song, my favorite and most played all-time song, and it made me cry multiple times.
- She's fearless and smart, even though she was at a bad place at one point, she was smart and hired the best to try out something new and released an epic album called "Blackout".
- She’s a Grammy awarding artist and a multiple record breaker of basically everything you can think of.
- Every artist is compared to Britney at one point or another. She is a phenomenon.
- She's stylish, confident, not spoiled and like someone said, "she's as famous as Madonna and about 20 years sexier".
- She and her songs help me when I'm having a hard time and they and her inspire me to make decisions in my life.
After every thing she does, I'm even more proud to be a stan.
She was born to make her fans happy.
Her quotes always inspire me:
"Never loose your passion to dream."
"If you have a dream, I say go for it. Just believe and work hard. Just remember that it takes time."
"You have to be happy with who you are. I wasn't always popular in school or with boys, but I always liked who I was anyway."
"Remember to always enjoy the little things life gives you. Don't let anything pass you by."
"People are going to have opinions about you all day long. But the only one that matters is your own."
"I'd rather be by myself forever than be with somebody because I'm lonely."
"You can get far, no matter from where you start."
"You can love someone so much, but then there are times when too much has been said. You can forgive. But you can't forget."
She's great in every damn thing she does and I wish I was at least partially talented in everything like her. I have all of her albums and singles and I will continue to support her my whole life, no matter what.
Every time someone says 'your faves could never', I'm proud that I can say 'my fave could always'.
Britney may not be perfect. She pushes the envelope from time to time, and she's my favorite artist out there and that will never change. I'll always be her stan, because she's not just a regular singer - she is an icon, the definition of the music of her generation, but to me, she is the queen of pop, the queen of music.
